About
'The experience of a film is immersive, and music is supposed to
underline and help that experience' - Thomas Newman
gI am a Kent based composer and songwriter with a BA Hons in Commercial Music. Since graduating with First Class Honours in September 2018 I have been involved in a number of projects. I composed the music for a 30 minute short film, 'The Rosie Sinclaire Files', which, after premiering at The Prince Charles Cinema in Soho, can now be found on Amazon Prime as a five part web-series. I have also worked on the 'Dubium Est.' dark comedy series where I composed a brand new soundtrack for a one off episode entitled 'Once in a Lifetime', a six episode soundtrack for its first series and am currently creating music for the Christmas Special. I also worked with the same director on his short film 'The Great Artist' and will be working with him again in the near future on a brand new project.

I recently wrote the songs for a new musical entitled 'Sliced', a comedy about the highs and lows of salon life. I am also writing tracks for a short film entitled 'Where Do I Go From Here' by writer/director Haidar Alameir.

Aside from films and TV I have worked with Bibliotheque on their 'Remembrance' album which features my cover of 'I Vow to Thee.' Additionally I worked with the company Eligraphics, creating content for their children's youtube channel, Elikids.

Alongside composing for media projects, I still enjoy writing songs and have recently released my third EP, 'Painted Expectations' which can be found on Spotify and Bandcamp. . My primary instrument is my voice and I've found I can incorporate this within my compositions in order to give my pieces an original sound that could not be replicated elsewhere. I am also a pianist and this is my most valuable tool when it comes to scoring short films and episodes.
I created 'meganwardropermusic' in order to have a space to showcase the variety of work I do and connect with fellow creatives in order to create more beautiful things.
